STOCK SHORTAGE – Very limited stock available this summer

As many people know we have been battling through the new certification issue with regards to getting European standards on the Hydraulics range of PFDs over the past year or so. With the introduction of the new Maritime part 91 law in NZ we decided to go down the European standards instead of just Maritime NZ compliance in order to cater for our export markets as well. This process has proven to be incredibly tedious and time consuming and given the relatively small size of Hydraulics in a global manufacturing perspective our suppliers have constantly been pushing us back and back with delivery times. Recently we have been pushing to get some firm answers regarding this and it is with regret that we have now realized that we are simply not going to be able to get new stock landed here in sufficient time for this season. We understand this is a frustration for you however we feel we needed to give you a direct answer as this dilemma has been on-going now for some time. Please have our reassurance that we will be looking to revive Hydraulics next year when we can get stock in a sufficient timeframe for summer.
